What is the eBike Academy?
A day at Spark Cycleworks HQ facility learning how to repair your ebike and ride safely. The group will be broken up into smaller classes taught by instructors with years of experience. Half the day will be spent indoors and half will be outdoors. Lunch is provided and the day will end with a ride to the ocean and back.
Who can Come and what to bring?
All brands are welcome, you don’t have to ride a Spark bike!
Required to Bring
– Helmet, Gloves, Long Pants, Closed Shoes
Recommended to Bring
– Your Bike! Might as well bring your own ride to tune up and ride at the end
Class Cost and additional fees
– Cost is $75
- Includes Lunch
– No bike? You can rent a Bandit for $25 for the day
Parts for purchase: (Not required unless you want to update your own personal bike on day of class)
– Brake pads ($15)
– Variety of tires ($70-$150)
– Other custom items can be selected at day of purchase such as handlebars
When & Where is the class
– Saturday July 1st (POSTPONED TO AUGUST 19th)
– Class starts 10am sharp

From NYC or Boston?
– Spark is located 10 minutes away from New Haven Train Station. This is a 2 hour train ride from NYC or Boston
– If you would like to come to a class and don’t want to drive, we will have a shuttle that picks you up and brings you to the class

– A strict 1 hour time slot to use Spark’s facility and team members to help you customize your ride
– Spark offers a variety of parts for purchase on day of event such as headlights, handlebars, shocks, dual batteries, and much more
– You can bring your own items if you feel confident they will work with your bike
– Items that can not be customized on day of event: Motor swaps and 72V battery conversions.
